EasyCMD 1.01

EasyCMD was designed by the creator of Win.Privacyto give users and alternative user-friendly interface to the Command Prompt (CMD), or DOS as some of us know it. It isn't anything complicated and much like the DOS prompt; you simply need to type in whatever you like and click execute or enter. Hence, there's only one screenshot because there's nothing else to show. One problem is that it really brings nothing to the table. Perhaps future versions might add quick access to commonly used DOS commands as well as a list of the more frequently used DOS commands for the less experienced, for example. Otherwise, most geeks will be happy to just use the command prompt.

Not all users are comfortable with Command Prompt, even though it is capable of providing them with a responsive means of interacting with their computer.

On the bright side, there are software utilities that can interpret and execute commands while being packed in a more approachable user interface. Once such tool is EasyCMD.

Most users resort to command lines in order to work around advanced annoyances that require administrator permission to be solved, automate specific tasks, or simply for informative purposes.

EasyCMD is able to do just that since it was designed as a user-friendly Command Prompt replacement you can employ whenever the need arises.

Before anything else, it must be mentioned that the program is lightweight, with its GUI being as simplistic as possible.

All you need to do in order to benefit from the application’s capabilities is type in a valid command in the dedicated field at the top of the main window, then click the “Execute” button.

All the details related to how the OS has managed to address your request are also listed in the main window, in a highlighted section you can easily scroll up or down.

As made obvious, there are no special skills the user must acquire in order to successfully interact with the program, that, of course, if they are familiar with basic notions of command lines.

As an added bonus, EasyCMD is portable and can be easily transferred from one device to another via a USB stick. Nevertheless, you must ensure that .NET Framework is installed on the computer you are trying to run it on.

On an ending note, EasyCMD is a reliable command line interpreter that should help you easily get your work done if you are among the users who are seasoned enough to handle Command Prompt but don't like its aesthetic traits.
