KuaiZip is a file compression utility that supports all popular archive formats (ZIP, RAR, 7z, ZIP etc.) as well as CD/DVD images and virtual disk files. The application displays a comprehensive interface that resembles that of other similar products. From its main window you can browse the contents of your hard drive and add files and folders to archives.

While browsing, you can view the item type and the last time it was modified.

To create or to extract and archive, you can either use the options added to the Windows context menu or directly from inside the application.

As a file compression and decompression utility it supports over 40 compression formats amongst which worth mentioning are RAR, ZIP and 7Z. With this tool you can even mount CD/DVD and ISO images in formats such as APE, FLAC, WV, ISO, CUE, CCD, BWT, MDS, MDF and NRG.

When creating a new archive, you can set its name, format, update mode, compression method and of course, add password protection to it. You are also provided with additional features that allow you to split a large volume into multiple smaller files and create a SFX archive.

All the archives can be opened for viewing using the application. You can browse the contents of each archive without having to extract the contents first. This proves very handy when you want to extract a specific file from a backup archive.
